Contest Themes Announcement!The themes have been decided!! We will have 3 different themes for this contest and in the description for your entry, you must mention which theme you decided to go with, why you chose that particular theme and what inspired it. Also, if you have NOT read Black Rose up to it's current point, there will be some spoilers here.So without further ado, the themes are~ #1- Alternate Universe!Just what it sounds like~You can choose to draw whoever you'd like in an alternate universe setting. You could even insert them into your own story's universe and put in your own characters! You can go a lot of different routes with this from a Dungeons and Dragons theme to a modern theme, the possibilities are endless so have fun! #2 What If?This theme comes courtesy of @WhiteMageHealer who left the suggestion on the latest poll I posted so big shoutout to her!So with this theme you'll be portraying a different outcome to a scenario in Black Rose. For example"What if Nicolette didn't beat Lotti?" or "What if Adelais never forgave Estelle?" or "What if Caterina never killed herself?"Things like that. So you would pick a scenario and portray it if it went a different route. #3 Simply draw your favorite characterThis theme is very simple and that's to simply portray your favorite character(s) in the best way you can. Now I'm going to be looking for accuracy on every single entry but if you choose this theme I will be even more picky about little details like patterns on clothes, jewelry, accessories etc. I will provide the best references in a separate entry so don't worry about having to hunt for them. How to increase your chances of winning!*NOTE*Doing these things will simply increase your chances of winning and are not grounds for an automatic disqualification. Accuracy- If you portray my characters accurately then you will obviously have a better chance of winning. For example, if you choose to do a fantasy AU and choose a class that would actually fit my character based on personality and such, you will have a much better chance of winning than if you simply picked something random. Quality- This should be fairly obvious. The more effort put into your work, the better your chances are. Don't half-ass this please. Complexity- The more complex the drawing is, the better and I mean adding backgrounds, nature, things like that. A drawing with a white background probably isn't gonna cut it here. Any questions?
